Liu xiang was born on July 13,1983 in Shanghai. Liu xiang is a famous athlete in the world. He won the gold medal at 2004 Summer Olympics in the 110 metre hurdles. He was the first gold Chinese men's athlete to ever win the track and field in the Olympics history. So Liu xiang was important for my country. Everyone was proud of his grade, but Liu xiang was not proud of this gold medal. In 2006, he set a new world record in the 110 metre hurdles.
